3rd Chiropractic Education Forum in Latin America

UCEN - Santiago, Chile
April 19-21, 2012

Sponsored By:
Universidad Central (UCEN) | World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) | Interanational Board of Chiropractic Examiners (IBCE)

Chiropractic Education continues as an increasingly important issue in our region due to the opening of new programs. The purpose of this "Discussion Forum" is to reach a consensus on the topics for chiropractic education in Latin America.

The objective of the first meeting held in S Paulo, in 2009, was to bring together representatives of the existing programs and talk about the challenges they had faced. An important point was to determine what they did and what they should have done to maintain high standards.

The second meeting in Mexico in 2010, offered a unique opportunity to discuss important issues such as - Standard Curriculum for Latin America, Research & clinical trials, alternative programs (second degree and conversion programs), among others.

At this meeting in Santiago 2012, we will have the opportunity to discuss two major issues - teachers training and how to implement clinical training for students. For this we have the honor to have as speaker Dr. Leonard Faye, a consultant on high quality clinical training for chiropractic schools in Europe and in the USA.
